Thiersee lies in the heart of a large mountain bike area in Austria. From the pro MTB trail to the more relaxed hiking-biking tour: you can cycle through areas of overwhelming beauty.

Who feels like a mountain biking tour? Then pick up the keys at reception for one of the Juffing cycles! The most beautiful tour is leading to the Kaiserhaus. Cycle to the Gruberbauer Farm, take a left and then cycle onwards towards Kranhof, from here you will continue onwards to the Kaiserhaus alpine chalet.

For experienced mountain bikers there is a special cycle map available with more than 50 sign-posted cycle paths in and around Thiersee in Tyrol. (Available at reception) Helmets are also available at reception. Especially built for rental use, the cycles are serviced regularly.

The stud farm Neugschwent in the Thierseetal Valley in Tyrol

Dreamy views across Lake Thiersee are to be had at the stud farm Neugschwendt. The riding facility was newly built in 2002 by Hans Trainer and equipped with everything a rider could dream off. The stable includes a jumping square, stalls, a washing box, an exercise system, and paddocks and was integrated wonderfully into the landscape.

The Ebbs stables in Tyrol are the most important stud farm for Haflinger horses and are open for visits daily. The stable is also home to a riding and driving school as well as a Haflinger horse and carriage museum. Fresh water lakes for your alpine summer holidays are available a plenty in the Unterlander Lake District in Tyrol: the Hechtsee Lake, the Stimmersee Lake, the Pfrillsee Lake, the Laengsee Lake, the Landler swimming lake and especially popular: the beloved Thiersee Lake.

And we are honest about the distance:
on foot the Thiersee Lake is reached in an hour, by bike its 20 minutes with the car: it’s a mere 5 minutes to your bathing adventure.

E-Bikes cycling made easy for your Tyrolean mountain summer

Without costing too much energy you will be able to reach even the highest located points in the Thierseetal Valley, even 1000 metres of altitude are possible without sore muscles the next day: with the new electric bikes.

Many of the rental stations hold the new E-bikes for guests who would like to cycle through their summer holidays in and around Kufstein in Tyrol. In collaboration with the Ferienland Kufstein and the Movelo brand, not only are the E-bikes available for rental but there are also special guided tours with this environmentally friendly bike. Cycling during your summer holidays: but without the sore muscles, a perfectly relaxed and experience-rich joy.
