- Rasul-baththe Rasul-bath was originally invented in Egypt and is a variation on the steam-bath. During the course of a Rasul-bath the guest enjoys a treatment with healing earth, with different areas of the body getting covered in various healing muds. After that, the muds are gently massaged into the skin in a small, round room with soothing herbal steams. The mud works like an exfoliant. Several spells of herbal steam are produced in the Rasul, heating the room to approximately 40 degrees. The treatment culminates in a shower and subsequent resting period. The Rasul-bath encourages the circulation of blood to the skin, purifies the tissue and supports the metabolism.
