The Haltjoch lift Hinterthiersee

The Haltjoch Lift (Info-Tel.: +43 (0) 5376 20904, Homepage:, e-mail: office@tirolina.atis in operation since the winter season 2014/15 . (Opening times: daily from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm). The lift is located right opposite the hotel, on top of the TIROLINA ski, sports and activity mountain!

Ski slopes Haltjoch lift:

  • Number of slopes: 3 - 1 km black slopes (for advanced skiers; homologated FIS track), 1 km red slopes (intermediate), 1 km blue slopes (for beginners)

Schneeberg-Hagerlifte family ski resort, Mitterland

The Schneeberg-Hagerlifte family ski resort in Mitterland/Thiersee is just a 5-minute drive from the hotel. There is snow from the beginning of December and skiing is guaranteed until mid-March. Well-trained instructors from the Thiersee ski school and perfectly groomed practice slopes make skiing a fun experience for beginners of all ages. Our “Gschwendt” snack station offers a cosy stop-off right next to the slopes.

  • Number of slopes: 3 - 1 km black slopes (for advanced skiers), 2 km red slopes (intermediate), 1,5 km blue slopes (for beginners)

The village ski bus will take you to the slopes in the winter from Monday to Friday with a Ski Bus Card (available at the reception) and is free from Hinterthiersee to the Hager lifts and back if ski attire is worn.

Outward journey (from Hinterthiersee Village – Haltjoch lift): 9:35 am, 1:00 pm, 1:30 pm etc.
Return journey (from Pfarrwirt – Hagerlift): 12:30 pm, 1:20 pm, 2:20 pm, 3:20 pm, 4:20 pm, 5:20 pm etc.

Ski World Wilder Kaiser – Brixental

The region around Kufstein is the gateway to the “SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser – Brixental”, the largest connected ski area in Austria (698 m - 1829 m above sea level). 90 modern cable cars and ski-lifts, 4 fun parks & a funny bird slope, as well as 284 km of ski slopes (180 km of them equipped with 1,400 snow cannons, 134 km beginner, 129 km intermediate and 17 km advanced slopes) guarantee a great time skiing from December 8th, 2018 onwards. The area can be reached from the hotel in around 30 minutes by car (lower terminus Scheffau or Soell). Soell offers a night run from 6:30 pm until 9:45 pm (Wednesday – Saturday).

"Zahmer Kaiser" ski resort – Durchholzen

The “Zahmer Kaiser” ski resort (660 m - 1150 m above sea level), located in the village of Durchholzen near the Walchsee Lake, is regarded as particularly family friendly and affordable. The modern four-person chair lift, as well as five more ski lifts, will transport you to the top of around 25 km of well-groomed slopes of varying difficulty. The area is equipped with modern snow cannons and free parking spaces right next to the lower terminus.

"Sudelfeld" ski paradise – Bayrischzell

Nature, sports and a family atmosphere. The broad, open si slopes located amidst impressive mountain scenery offer everything you would expect from a high-quality ski resort (800 m - 1563 m above sea level). 14 lifts, four of which are chair lifts, provide access to ski slopes that have been formed by the natural terrain of the alpine pastures. What’s new: the snow cannon system was extended to include the Waldkopf, which can now be reached via a six-person chair lift (winter season 2014/15). The almost treeless area grants access to 32 km of slopes of varying difficulty, allowing for a great time skiing in Bavaria’s most family friendly ski resort. It can be reached from the hotel in around 25 minutes by car via Bayrischzell.
