We love wine from Austria. Our vinophile guests can get to know the highly esteemed wines from the Wachau, Styria or Burgenland.

An homage to Austria's winemakers

We have been caring and nurturing our wine and drinks menu with strong Austrian focus for years: Schilcher Prosecco as an aperitif, the gold-awarded apricot schnapps by Uncle Hans - sometimes we search for a long time, sometimes the relatives bring it to us, but we are always looking for the best. 

Thus the Juffing was distinguished in the FALSTAFF BARGUIDE 2023 - WEINBARS with 90/100 points and thus 3 wine glasses. The reasoning: "Nature and originality offers the upscale hotel with dreamlike garden only for adults. The exclusivity also extends to the fine dining and the corresponding wine accompaniment. Wachau, southern Styria and Burgenland are prominently featured. The in-house apricot schnapps is award-winning!

Digital WinePad

Wine is poetry in bottles and you ask how so much poetry fits into an iPad? In our restaurant you either receive the already known wine menu on request or a digial WinePad. It includes every wine that is also listed on our wine menu. As comprehensive information comes directly from the producers, the digital iPads encompass much more details than the printed menu. 

The Juffing wine library is managed online by us and is always up-to-date. The wines are presented in the form of a web app which was optimised for iPad and smartphones but also works on every other device, also Android, TV or PC.

The wine descriptions include:

  • Origin and development history of the wines
  • Sensory descriptions, analytic data and awards
  • Recommendations for drinking and comprehensive information on the vinery
  • Image of the bottle and pictures of the producer

You are also free to scan the QR code with your smartphone. Then you will have the Juffing wine app on your phone.

Try a cross section of the native diversity of regions and types in the course of our wine tastings: Whether wine connoisseur or simply gourmet - everyone can experience pleasurable things at the Juffing and discover something new. Look forward to wine samples and wine galas with Austria's best winemakers that belong to our proramme of highlights.

Time to be sociable at our hotel bar

Our bar in the lounge is a creative meeting point for our hotel guests.

In the evening we will serve cocktails which were specially created for our house and fit the motto "Balance that inspires". Refreshing, vital creations from down-to-earth and full of herbs to tangy and lemony can be found on our bar menu next to classic cocktails from all over the world. There are fresh, fruity summer drinks, mocktails and detox drinks with grapefruit and honey at our hotel bar. 

Get in the mood for the evening at our bar or let it wind down there, make plans for the next holiday adventures and enjoy the atmosphere of our bar with a well mixed cocktail in your hand. In any case you do not have to leave our adults only hotel to enjoy good longdrinks or a cool beer. Host quality, good drinks and a nice companionship await you.

Barista pleasure at the Juffing

A manually prepared good coffee touches all senses.

The Juffing guests choose between filter coffee, coffee from the fully automatic machine and barista pleasure from the portafilter machine. Only one thing does not exist in our environmentally friendly hotel: the capsule machine. With much love we conjure up the best coffee for your cup and provide prime pleasure in combination with a delicious cake. Our employees are continually trained in barista knowledge and are happy to share their passion for good coffee with you.
