for your stay at the Juffing

Here we answer the most frequently asked questions about your booking, cancellation conditions,
arrival and departure and provide you with further useful information for your stay at the Juffing Hotel & Spa.

Booking conditions & information

How is arrival & departure regulated at the Juffing Hotel & Spa?

Plan your arrival best so that you will arrive in the course of the afternoon. In order to make your day of arrival already a vacation day there are interesting stopping points in the surroundings. Your room will be ready for you from 2.30 pm at the lastest on the day of arrival. From the point when you can move into your room you will also be able to use our pool and sauna landscape. On the day of arrival we ask you to vacate your room until 11.00 am. The Juffing 3/4 nature indulgence board (breakfast, afternoon buffet, evening menu) will begin at 2.00 pm on the day of arrival and will end after breakfast on the day of departure. The afternoon buffet on the day of departure is not included in the price.

Enjoy your stay to the fullest and make the best use of the days you arrive and depart:

  • breakfast (from 8.00 to 10.30 am) on the day of arrival à € 28.00/person
  • early arrival (from 8.00 am) with breakfast and use of the spa à € 38.00/person
  • early arrival (from 10.00 am) only with use of the spa à € 10.00/person
  • Use of the spa on the day of departure means that guests check out of their room by 11:00 am and can use the spa until 5:00 pm. Guests who choose this option can also enjoy our afternoon buffet on the day of their departure - we will simply charge €25/person. (Please note: guests must first register at the reception. Changing area and secured luggage storage is available downstairs.)

Many packages already include the use of the spa incl. afternoon buffet on the day of departure.

Is there a compulsory vignette or toll zone?

The section from the national border to the motorway exit Kufstein Süd is toll-free. Therefore you can travel to Thiersee via the exit Kufstein Nord without a vignette. Take the exit Kufstein Nord in any case. Alternatively you can choose the toll-free panoramic arrival via the German lake district to Bayrischzell and over the border via Landl to Hinterthiersee.

What are the cancellation conditions & is there cancellation insurance?

There can always happen something unexpected. Please inform us in writing if you cannot begin your holidays as planned (we cannot accept verbal cancellations). First and foremost we will try to let your room to other guests so that you won't have to pay cancellation fees. For the case that we cannot do so we are a partner of the Europäische Reiseversicherung. In any case, we recommend to take out hotel cancellation insurance. This is possible under https://www.europaeische.at/en/.

Depending on the time of the written cancellation, the following costs are charged:

  • no costs in case of cancellations until 30 days before arrival
  • 50% of the 3/4 board price in case of cancellations until 14 days before arrival
  • 70% of the 3/4 board price in case of cancellations within 13 days before arrival
  • in case of late arrival/early departure: 80% of the 3/4 board price

Europäische Reiseversicherung covers cancellation costs not only in the event of cancellation of your trip, but also in the event of late arrival, early departure and accident or transport costs on site.

When does the insurance have to be taken out?
If the insurance is taken out at the same time as the booking, you are insured immediately. Simultaneously means that the guest takes out and pays for the insurance directly with Europäische within 3 days of booking the trip or we take out the insurance via an existing interface in the hotel programme after the deposit has been credited to our account together with the fee (please note: the date of the deposit applies).

The following applies if insurance is taken out retrospectively (10-day period):
If the insurance is not taken out at the same time as booking the trip, the insurance cover for trip cancellation only begins on the 10th day after taking out the insurance (except in the event of accident, death or natural hazard).
BUT: All services on site are insured without a waiting period if taken out at least 1 day before arrival (accident costs, etc.)

What to do in the event of damage?
The guest is the policyholder. We recommend that you as a guest submit the claim to the insurance company yourself due to the GDPR (according to the GDPR, sensitive data, such as medical diagnoses, must be transmitted by the guest himself).

We are happy to support you in this:

In the event of cancellation or curtailment, the insurance company will require the following documents from you:

  • proof of insurance (e. g. policy number, confirmation of insurance)
  • Online Claim Report or Claim Form Cancellation, completed in full
  • documentary evidence of the insured event (e. g. doctor's certificates)
  • booking confirmation
  • cancellation costs invoice
Does a deposit have to be paid before departure and if so, how much and by when?

We charge 20% of the arrangement price. We kindly ask you to transfer the down payment until 30 days before arrival to the following bank account:

S. Juffinger-Konzett KG Anzahlungen

IBAN: AT29 2050 6077 0009 1825

Is the Juffing Hotel & Spa an Adults only hotel?

The Juffing is a place of rest and relaxation with a focus on wellness and relaxation. As an Adults Only hotel, we do not have children's facilities in the restaurant and pool area. Our investments and efforts are geared towards maximum relaxation for adults seeking recreation. We offer our guests more than just a short break from everyday life and ask for your understanding that we therefore do not accept families with children under 18. In this case, we are happy to recommend the neighbouring hotel Thierseerhof in Hinterthiersee

Is it possible to make room requests when booking a hotel?

Of course you can tell us your preferences regarding room categories. It is, however, not possible to reserve particular room numbers or floors.

Thank you for understanding that all public areas are non-smoking.
All rooms and suites are non-smoking rooms. Therefore, we kindly ask you to move smoking in front of the main entrance.
Smoking on the balcony is not permitted. In this context, there are always complaints from neighbouring guests because the smoke is drawn into the neighbour's room when the window is open. • Zirbe west (213)
  • Zirbe east (212)
  • Skylove (301)

People who come to us with digestive problems are increasing every day. ACCESSIBILITY AND VACATION WITH A WHEELCHAIR

At the Juffing Hotel & Spa, wheelchair users will find good conditions for a relaxing vacation. The Juffing has been tested as part of the quality initiative "Tirol barrier-free - accommodation for wheelchair users" and is listed as a "wheelchair-friendly establishment": Our house is therefore not 100% wheelchair accessible, but definitely wheelchair friendly. Please refer to our test certificate for details.

Basics:

  • Two elevators allow free and independent movement between the different floors (every room is accessible by elevator) and generally all rooms in the house are accessible by wheelchair without steps.
  • Our restaurant and the spa area have barrier-free access and wheelchair-accessible tables.
  • All terraces are steplessly accessible.
  • The passage to the fitness room has no thresholds

Door widths:

  • Door width hotel entrance electronic sliding door: 140 cm
  • Corridors/doors: corridor width 160 cm, door width 110 cm
  • Elevator main building: door width 90 cm, cabin size 132 x 110 cm
  • Elevator suite wing: door width 90 cm, cabin size 132 x 110 cm
  • WC facilities in public area: door width 77 cm, WC height 46 cm

Rooms and suites:

We have a single accessible room (Abendrot, room 414) as well as many other rooms that ensure greater independence for people with limited mobility, for example with barrier-free showers.
The specially adapted and barrier-free room is located in such a way that it is the shortest route to the hotel restaurant and spa area. The steplessly accessible elevator is also located next to the wheelchair-accessible room, so that guests can also reach the garages and swimming pool area quickly and easily from there.

In the Clarissa and Victoria suites, the shower is separated by a 2 cm high tiled plinth. In room 414, the terrace is accessible via a step.
  • We would like to point out to all guests that the part of the spa built in 2019 is not barrier-free, as the sauna area (bio sauna, vitality sauna, panorama sauna, plunge pool) can only be reached via five steps. There was no satisfactory structural solution without steps, please take this into account when making your vacation decision.
  • We would also like to expressly point out that the hot water pool is only accessible via the first floor. This means that the bathing guest reaches the warm water pool via the first floor (the guest must go outside, as the warm water pool is only accessible via a staircase inside the building). There are steps in the warm water pool itself.
  • We do not have a permanently installed lift in our pools. The swimming pool can be reached at ground level without barriers, but the pools are accessed via three steps.
  • Balconies are only accessible via a small threshold on the balcony door.
  • Disabled parking spaces are available

We endeavor to ensure that all guests can enjoy a pleasant vacation with us without unnecessary barriers and obstacles. We have compiled the information to the best of our knowledge. However, disabilities are very individual and a personal discussion is important to us before booking. important.
